Despite these ‘entertaining’ comments and
plagerised quotes I’d realized something big..
Most of my friends spent they’re time clubbing,
posting pictures on facebook.. and hitting the “Like” button
None of them were really occupied with building a career
finding they’re true meaning in life or obtaining wealth..
Finally I just said, F*** it.. I can’t relate to anybody here..
and no one here is on the same level as I am.
I felt underachieved but by browsing the “Top News”
I actually understood something.
The Paradigm shift
Society conforms individuals, they do what everyone else does,
even if it doesn’t fit where and who they are.
The way woman are now, they’re social character is rooted in cause
and effect influenced away from they’re biological nature
they’ve become the byproduct of the media, television,
radio and beauty magazines
and once that train of thought dominates your temperament
(Social conditioning) it
leaves you weak, imbalanced and incognizant
of the empowering elements in life.
This is the caused by a Dependency on society
Dependency – the state of relying on or being
controlled by someone or something else.
Society always makes you dependent.
It keeps you wearing the latest trends and makes sure
that your hats always in-check and looking good with your jeans.
It says that when the fake tan wears out, you need another
or you won’t be good enough (cool anymore)
So that’s when the real question comes in.. Do we need society to
dictate whether we are cool (dependency) or do we dictate
what is cool by our own achievements in life (Independence)
The answer is Independence.
People get caught in the traffic lights
They get stuck in a constant loop always buying the newest fad.
For the short-term oriented people being cool is the achievement
to life, because it entails:
- Popularity
- Validation
- Happiness
- Admiration
- Validation
- Desirability
- Social Status
- Power
For long-term oriented people, Achieving they’re goals is what is important in life,
because it entails:
- Success
- Happiness
- Money/Wealth
- Health
- Self-Worth/Esteem
- Values
- Integrity
- Financial Stability
- Self-Mastery
- Control
- Authority
Paradigms of progression
What I’m trying to show in my above diagram is that by engaging in
societies norms and by making them your primary source of validation
you enter into a constant loop and engage in a game
that you can never win.
A 19 year old girl with fake tits, some nice clothes/hair whos skinny
as hell and does coke has more value in our society then a doctor that’s saved
1000’s of lives. In society you will always fall short if your looking up to
other peoples standards to determine you own sense of value.
Realize that your goals and what you wish to achieve are more
important then most things in life. Set out to be independent
and avoid dependent words.

lot of people are stuck in a traffic jam” – Shizzy
Victory isn’t measured by a love for glory but in the genuine love
for life. Find what you love and then direct your passions to it,
embrace failure and disregard anyone doubting you. |
